MaCara Santiago loves helping expats and entrepreneurs get their finances in order. An entrepreneur herself, a layoff prompted her to start her first business – a professional organizing company. During that time, MaCara taught financial literacy in marginalized and disenfranchised communities as well as completed her degree in accounting with a focus on International Taxation.
While traveling solo and living abroad in the Dominican Republic, MaCara noticed few black women represented in the tax industry specializing in expat and international taxation.
