WHY THE BLACK EXPAT?

We provide practical advice and a splash of inspiration for future Black expat.  By offering lessons learned, the Black Expat makes it a little easier for those who are navigating their international journey.  It’s always best to learn the good, the bad and the real from people who have taken the road less travelled.

From the Bajan who goes to the U.S. to study to the Nigerian entrepreneur who moves to Jamaica, and everyone else in between, we’re changing the expat narrative.

Welcome to The Black Expat.
